The Process
Three Stages, No Exceptions for Order Size
Quality control isn't a single checkpoint at the end. It runs through the whole order, from factory selection to the moment goods leave the warehouse.
Factory Vetting and Sample Review
Before a factory is assigned an order, it's already been vetted against Gallop Sourcing's network standards. Once a sample is produced, it's reviewed in Pakistan before it's ever sent to the buyer, so a flawed sample doesn't reach approval by accident.
On-Site Visits and Weekly Updates
Gallop Sourcing physically visits the factory while an order is in production, rather than checking in only by phone or email. Buyers get photo updates at key milestones, so a problem is visible while it's still fixable, not after the goods are packed.
AQL 2.5 Inspection and Buyer Sign-Off
Every order goes through a full AQL 2.5 pre-shipment inspection, with a complete photo report shared before anything ships. Nothing leaves the factory without the buyer's approval on that report first.
What Is AQL 2.5?

AQL stands for Acceptable Quality Limit. It's a statistical sampling standard used across manufacturing industries to define how many defective units in a sample batch are considered acceptable before a shipment is rejected. AQL 2.5 is one of the most commonly used levels in textile and garment inspection, and it's the standard applied to every order Gallop Sourcing ships, not just larger ones.

Certifications vary by factory and by product. Here's what each one actually covers, and depending on your market or buyer requirement, additional certifications can be sourced on request.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100
An independent test for harmful substances in textiles. It confirms a fabric has been checked for chemical safety before it's approved for direct skin contact.
ISO 9001
An international standard for quality management systems. It certifies that a factory has documented, consistent processes for controlling quality, not just good intentions.
amfori BSCI
The Business Social Compliance Initiative. A factory audit system focused on labor conditions, working hours and workplace safety.
WRAP
Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production. A certification confirming lawful, humane and ethical manufacturing conditions in apparel and textile factories.
Sedex SMETA
The Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit. Covers labor standards, health and safety, environmental practice and business ethics at the factory level.

What is AQL 2.5 inspection?

AQL 2.5 is one of the most widely used inspection levels in textile and garment manufacturing, and it’s the exact standard Gallop Sourcing applies to every order we ship — not just larger ones.
Does every order get inspected, even small ones?
Yes. Every order that goes through Gallop Sourcing, whether it’s a small trial run or a full container, goes through the same AQL 2.5 pre-shipment inspection and receives a complete photo report before it ships. We don’t apply a lighter standard to smaller orders — a buyer’s first order is usually the one that decides whether they trust us with a second, larger one.
What quality checks happen before the final pre-shipment inspection?
Quality control at Gallop Sourcing isn’t limited to the final inspection. Every order passes through three separate checkpoints: a fabric inspection before cutting begins, so flaws in the raw material are caught before they become part of a finished product; in-line checks while the order is in production, so a problem is visible while it’s still fixable; and a full AQL 2.5 pre-shipment inspection once production is complete. Each stage is documented, and the buyer receives the final report before anything leaves the factory.
What certifications do Gallop Sourcing's manufacturing partners hold?
Depending on the product and buyer requirement, our manufacturing partners hold internationally recognized certifications including OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, SEDEX/SMETA, WRAP, ISO 9001 and BSCI. Certification availability can vary by factory and product category, and additional certifications can be sourced on request to meet specific market or buyer compliance needs — just tell us what your market requires before you place an order.
Can I visit the factories we work with?
Yes. We welcome buyers to visit Pakistan and see our manufacturing partners directly — it’s one of the most straightforward ways to build confidence before committing to a larger order. We can arrange factory tours and help coordinate the logistics around your visit, including introductions to the team working on your production. Contact us in advance and we’ll build an itinerary around your schedule.
What happens if an order doesn't pass inspection?
If a shipment doesn’t meet the AQL 2.5 threshold during pre-shipment inspection, it does not ship. We flag the defects to the factory, require rework or a sort of the affected units, and re-inspect before any approval is given. The buyer is kept informed throughout, and nothing goes out without a passed inspection and sign-off — regardless of how that affects the shipping timeline.
